Msty lets you use both local models (running on your own machine) and remote/cloud models, by adding “providers” for cloud-based models and by installing local models if you prefer fully offline.
In Msty’s UI (Model Hub or “Model Providers”), you can “Add Provider” to connect cloud models. You’ll need an API key from the provider.
Once you have multiple models configured, Msty supports side-by-side comparison: you can send one prompt and get replies from more than one model. This is sometimes referred to as “multi-chat” or “parallel models” in Msty.
I will let @ReneMolenaar know about your question so that he can elaborate and add to this since he configured this directly on his system.
