Hi,
How can i revert to startup-config without reloading the Cisco device? is there something like configure replace in the ASA?

Hi,

Configure replace exists on catalyst switches too. Do a " configure ? " to confirm.

This works on Cisco IOS devices but not on the ASA. I’m afraid the only option on the ASA is to delete the config and restart the device.

configure factory-default [ip_address [mask]]
I haven’t tried this so I’m not sure if it requires a reboot.
Are you trying to avoid reloading due to the Clock Signal Component Issue?

I just want to find a fast way to rollback the configuration without causing downtime to the ASA.
