I am using EEM scripts more and more in my position and to help my company. Rather than build these from scratch each time, I have my own repository, but I was curious if anyone here knows of a place where someone like me can find ones that others have built and are willing to share? I looked through “github,” however it really isn’t anything there except one-offs that are so unique they are not really useful. If you know of one will you please post it here? Also, I would challenge Networklessons to consider allowing users to build something here for paying users.
EEM scripts are a great help, and it is great that you’re building your own repository, that’s a trait of a great network engineer. Indeed, an online repository of EEM scripts is not something I have seen in any meaningful way, other than the one-offs that you mention as well.
As for your feature request about building an EEM script repository here on Networklessons for paying users, that’s really thoughtful feedback, and I can definitely understand the value of the suggestion. What I suggest is you go to the NetworkLessons Lesson Ideas page here:
There you can make your suggestion and describe it in detail. Although your suggestion is not a “traditional” lesson, it will still be examined by @ReneMolenaar as a possible addition to the site.
In the meantime, if you or anyone else finds a useful EEM script repository, feel free to share it in a post in this thread.
