Nat ASA Active standby

Hi,
In your ASA Active standby example how telnet is possible from inside to outside without nat
Thanks

Hi Sims,

NAT is a requirement if you have private IP addresses on your LAN and you want to access the Internet. ISPs will drop traffic that is destined to private IP addresses.

On a local network, it’s no problem to route this traffic so you don’t need NAT.
