I just joined. I am studying for my CCNP about to look at my first lesson. Welcome and good luck on the CCNA. I really like cisco 1841 routers for a home lab but the 7200 routers get new IOS updates I believe. I use those in GNS3.

Welcome on board! Packet tracer is great to start with but it is a simulator so sometimes limited. I use Cisco VIRL (emulator) for a lot of things in combinaton with a physical lab.
