On an ASA-5505, is it okay to use VLAN 1? On the Cisco switches, it seems that VLAN 1 should not be used as it is for management. Does that same rule apply to the ASA-5505?
Thank you

Hi Lance,
On Catalyst Switches, VLAN 1 is used as the management VLAN. Some management protocols use this VLAN.
This doesn’t apply to the ASA, you can use trunking but by default there are no VLANs.
