ASA 5512 - Unable to load Anyconnect image - extraction failed

Hi everyone,

I was hoping someone could help.

Updated my ASA 5512 to 9.4.2.

Then I proceeded to update my anyconnect image packages. I have access to Cisco’s site, so I am downloading good files. I downloaded the three packages, MAC, Linux, and WIN. TFTP’d them, verified they were in the proper directory, and proceeded with the proper webvpn command and they all get rejected stating extraction failed.

Thanks anyone for their input, if necessary Ill open a TAC.

Hi Jason,

I’ve only seen this before when the ASA didn’t have enough flash memory or DRAM (for cache) which sounds unlikely for a 5512. Might be best to open a TAC.
