1x Cisco Catalyst 3550 switch (or Cisco Catalyst 3560 or 3750)
3x Cisco 1841 router

The list of devices you mention are more than enough for studying for the CCNA R&S. Even though there are always advantages to working with actual physical hardware, CCNA R&S can be completed successfully using only Cisco Packet Tracer or GNS3, so there is no need to spend the cash for the hardware.
