Cisco Enterprise Infrastructure (EI) Blueprint

This topic is to discuss the following lesson:

Hello Team,
I don’t see any LAB exercises for CCIE EI . It would be helpful if you could post a few labs for practice.

Hello @sathish84be ,

Good question. We started experimenting with labs recently:

I’m unsure if I’ll create CCIE labs because that’s way more time-consuming than CCNA or CCNP-level labs.

Hello Team,
I am preparing CCIE EI , for that I am about to purchase the PC. After discussing with many CCIEians, I am bit confused on the PC requirements. Will it possible to run the l full fledged CCIE lab with 96GB ram /20core & 28 threads configurations?

Hello Sathish

Yes, the configuration you mentioned (96GB RAM/20 cores & 28 threads) should be more than sufficient to run a full-fledged CCIE lab. It’s important to remember that the CCIE lab environment is quite resource-intensive, but your chosen configuration should handle it well.

However, the level of success you will have will also depend on the specific software and tools you’re planning to use for your lab. Some virtualization software and network simulation tools might require different hardware specifications. So, it’s always a good idea to check the requirements of the specific tools you’re planning to use.

That being said, you should be able to run multiple instances of virtual routers/switches, servers, and other network devices with the configuration you’re planning to buy. This should work with GNS3, EVE-NG, as well as CML. Let us know how you get along with your setup when you get it up and running.

I hope this has been helpful!
