I’m trying to setup Multicast routing with PIM and BSR for RP discovery.
I’ve followed example in the Multicast course but my environment is little bite different and I’m unable to get it working.
With manual RP it works but with PIM BSR no.
Output of command “show ip mroute” is empty on BSR switch.
I’m using Nexus 3064 switches.

There are a few differences when it comes to configuring BSR on Nexus and on IOS devices. For example, when using the ip pim rp-candidate command, IOS doesn’t require you to add any more info beyond the interface, but Nexus switches need to indicate the group list after that. The differences are small, but can make the difference. I suggest you use this document to guide you for your multicast configuration.
