Viewing AS-Path in Browser

Is there a way of viewing the BGP AS-Path used to reach a certain website in a browser? e.g. I am with Virgin Media UK (AS5089) and I visit NetworkLessons (AS20857) and would like to see in the browser which AS-Path was used to connect.

Hi Mark,

I doubt there are any websites that show this. There are quite some websites that offer a visual traceroute but I doubt any of them show the AS numbers.

You can see it on a looking glass router though, this will show the AS numbers. Here’s an example:

route-server.as3257.net>traceroute 149.210.239.44

Type escape sequence to abort.
