Using IPSEC transport mode

Hi,

Why can’t I use transport mode when setting up site to site vpns? I tried setting up a site to site vpn and using transport mode and I noticed it didn’t change phase 2 still showed tunnel mode. Thank you

Hi Victor,

When you use transport mode you can only protect traffic from directly connected interfaces, otherwise the router will automatically switch back to tunnel mode.
